Excel Spreadsheet editing coming to iPhone

iPhone has always been able to view Microsoft Word and Excel files included as an email attachment. While useful, it left much to be desired. Particularly for business users, the ability to view and edit spreadsheets is a must have.
Macworld reported on one such solution from Mariner Software. Mariner Calc for iPhone was to provide a full featured spreadsheet application. Seven months have passed since the original story and Mariner Calc has yet to appear in the App Store.
It appears that after five rounds of internal beta testing Mariner Calc is nearing completion. Their website is collecting emalling addresses for those who wish to be notified when it becomes available.
